Reaction Chambers
Allow to carry out laboratory synthesis by combustion
and thermal explosion modes at different conditions
-
pressure: from 10-4 torr to 250 Barr;
-
atmosphere: Vacuum, Ar, He, N2, Air etc.;
-
temperature of initial samples (preheating) up to 1100 K;
-
temperature of reaction products up to 3500 K;
-
slow cooling and quenching with the rate up to 104 K/sec;
-
experimental measurements: temperature-time history (thermocouples), video
recording (micro- and macro-), light spectroscopy, electric probe, gas
pressure gages.
Analytical technique in the Lab
-
